Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026 · MeetEmmy, LLC — Woodstock, Georgia
This policy explains what information MeetEmmy, LLC ("MeetEmmy," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices available to the people it concerns. It applies to two groups: callers who reach a business using MeetEmmy's crisis response system, and business clients who use MeetEmmy to manage their inbound crisis calls.
1. Who This Policy Covers
Callers — individuals who contact a business client of MeetEmmy by phone, text, or web form during a service inquiry or emergency.
Business clients — home service companies and their authorized staff who contract with MeetEmmy to manage crisis response for their business.
2. Information We Collect
From callers, in the course of handling an inquiry or service request:
- Name, phone number, and, where provided, email address
- Service address or location relevant to the request
- Nature of the service need, as described by the caller
- Call audio and/or transcript, where call recording applies (see Section 4)
- Appointment and scheduling details
From business clients:
- Business name, contact information, and account details
- Staff or team member contact information for authorized users
- Billing information necessary to administer the account
- Records of service outcomes (calls answered, appointments booked) used to operate the account
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Connect a caller's request to the appropriate business client
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments on the business client's behalf
- Maintain the business client's records within their customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Operate, maintain, and improve the reliability of MeetEmmy's crisis response system
- Meet contractual, billing, and legal obligations to business clients
We do not sell caller or business client information to third parties, and we do not use caller information for advertising purposes unrelated to the service request that generated it.
4. Call Recording & Transcription
Calls handled through MeetEmmy's system may be recorded or transcribed for service quality, dispute resolution, and operational purposes. Georgia is a one-party consent state (O.C.G.A. § 16-11-62), meaning a call may be recorded with the consent of at least one participant. Where a caller reaches MeetEmmy from a jurisdiction requiring the consent of all parties, we provide notice before recording begins. Business clients are responsible for ensuring their own use of recorded calls complies with the laws of the jurisdictions in which they operate.
5. How Information Is Shared
Caller information collected on behalf of a business client is shared with that business client, as the information exists to serve their customer relationship — not MeetEmmy's. Information may also be shared with:
- Service providers who support MeetEmmy's operations (e.g., CRM hosting, scheduling, and communications infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations
- Parties as required by law, subpoena, or legal process
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of MeetEmmy's assets
6. Data Retention
We retain caller and business client information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, satisfy the business client's contractual needs, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type and business client agreement.
7. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Callers should direct such requests to the business they contacted; MeetEmmy will assist that business in fulfilling verified requests where MeetEmmy holds the relevant data. Business clients may contact us directly using the information below.
9. Children's Privacy
MeetEmmy's services are directed at businesses and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from this policy that is not otherwise subject to an arbitration or dispute-resolution provision in a business client's agreement with MeetEmmy will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cherokee County, Georgia, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
